Too cold for Bread and Butter
Hmmm... Firstly, I'm not really sure that this is cutting edge from a fashion perspective. Secondly, do we need to have an overriding tacky theme? Can't we just let the fashion designers (who are, after all, designers) define the show themselves? Oh well, it all seemed to go down a treat with everyone at the opening party. Klaus "Wow!" Wowereit was there for the opening - happy to celebrate one of Berlin's most financially important expos.
Unfortunately the city itself didn't really come to the party. Temperatures were hovering around the -8 degrees Celsius mark over the three days. Some guests at the B&B headquarters at Tempelhof Airport were even seen showing off their thermal underwear to each other - now there is nothing fashionable about that. Roll on, summer Bread & Butter in July!

Surprise! Wir sind BÄCK!
In the meantime, I've actually sort of become a proper journalist (although that depends on who you ask). So what's the motivation behind the restart? Simple - it's now become so cold in Berlin that there is little to be done but sit down at the computer again. This time, things are going to be a whole lot sillier - I promise. The main aim stays the same however: to get more daily hits than Heather DeLisle does on her blog.
Oh, and how did I remember the password? Easy. I logged-in continuously with all my passwords from the last 10 years of my life. I got it in only 3 weeks!
